The park sits on the south side of Lake Georgetown, a reservoir on the San Gabriel River. The dam was originally made to provide flood control and water supply for the surrounding community. Now it provides countless recreation opportunities on land and water.

Across the lake is Jim Hogg Camp the sister camp to Cedar Breaks.

Our site was on quite an incline making a floating front end a necessity. If you look closely, the front tires are not touching the ground. We try to avoid this because of the weight of the RV is not really made to be supported by the jacks. This also makes the entrance into the coach quite a climb.
