Sitting in the sun filled me with joy.
Our campsite was on a back row of the campground which gave us some privacy at this very busy camp and day use area.
Easter weekend was packed with activity. Many families camping and many locals having picnics, egg hunts, corn-hole tournaments and some boating.
Our one neighbor only had their rig parked here and came twice our stay once to check on things and once to leave.
The other neighboring site had some kind of issue that kept it closed.
Back beyond the trees you can see our rig (black) and our absent neighbor (brown/tan)
After taking Mark to the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport on this very rainy day Biscuit and I did a little adventuring. Pinnacle Peak State Park was just down the road from our camp so we drove over for a look. There was a new branch to the river running through the parking lot and despite the rain kids were playing on the playground and Biscuit took me for a spin around the pavilion thru the woods and down to the pier.
Biscuit and I spent a lot of time watching these two geese and their three little ones. They wanted to stay on shore but didn't appreciate Biscuits attention. Smart Geese!!!
