Biscuit found a friend to play with called Harley, she is a puppy with lots of energy.
Off they go!
They had a great time running in and out of the woods.
I don't know if they were happy being together or thrilled to be off leash. Either way they had fun.
The San Gabriel River Trail Georgetown Loop is a 28 trail through the Cedar Juniper forest, over rocky terrain and in some areas the lake is visible. It is a beautiful 79℉ day so we packed a picnic and plan on a 3-4 hour hike with hopes of getting close to the lake.
We got to see the lake but no touching, we were on top of a rocky cliff. It was beautiful and we found a nice picnic spot and biscuit had a rest in a puddle.

This is the foundation remains of an early single room rock house which was constructed in the mid 1870s. It looks like a tree set up residence right in the middle of the living room. The area is roughly preserved and maintained by the ACE volunteers.
