We stayed at "Pheonix's Best RV Resort" in North Pheonix. There are 638 spaces in this city campground. The transient sites are pull thru with small pad and attached park bench. The owned sites had a "coach house" (really a single wide stationary trailer), a carport (pole building) and a parking place for a camper. We were up close and personal with our neighbors so it's a good thing we RV types are friendly.
Kath went for a swim and a soak in the hot tub.
Our Newmar neighbor with a movie wrap; promoting a new movie. Two cute little dogs that tolerated Biscuit's butt smelling.
Questionable neighborly activities?
We had Michael and Karen Femaino, Mark's cousin, over for dinner and tried to grill on our little top. We decided after taking two hours (before they arrived) to roast some peppers that we would have dinner at the picnic area where the resort has gas grills for guest use. In the morning Mark transferred the ashes to a paper box for disposal and set it on the sideboard. About an hour later he yelled into the coach "We have a problem, WE HAVE A PROBLEM!"
Apparently in the heat of the desert one should add water to ashes because the heat lingers. So much for that sideboard but on the bright side we did not burn up our neighbor's coach or our own.
There were lots of flowering plants, cacti, and succulents around the campground.
