A wild pig with piglets gets a drink of water from Evangeline Pond. Biscuit was quite interested and wanted to have play time.
Lake LeFleur. A popular fishing spot in the park.
The favorite fish to catch is the Sac-a-lait (Cajun French name for Crappie or White Perch) according to the fishermen here the only way to catch the picky fish is with skinks or artificial bait if you can figure out their favorite color. The early morning fishing lady said the ones in Lake LeFleur like purple-sounds like a load of crappie to me but she has a pail full of them.
