Armadillo, little Armored one

This little guy was foraging in the palmettos. He was intent on finding his meal and ignored Biscuit's barking and growling. When biscuit stuck his nose into the leaves close to this little guy he jumped and scurried a few feet away and continued to look for bugs. I made Biscuit sit and I started talking to it and it stuck it's head up just long enough for me to take a picture. We could hear and sometimes see lots of them at night scurrying around the camp.

Biscuit had a run in with an alligator! Biscuit won;)

Butterflies are all around Lake LeFleur

We saw these interesting formations first at Lake Evangeline but then noted they were in many locations just not as well defined.

They are called mud chimneys and they are made by crawfish:) kids take a piece of baited string and try to catch them.

Biscuit caught a little bunny...and ate it.

Sometimes having a hunting dog is gross!
