Army Corps of Engineer Aux Arc Campground sits on Ozark Lake in the Arkansas River Valley. Aux Arc is a name originated wit the French explorers when they mapped the area. The term means "the big bend" as is found in the Arkansas River here. The name was simplified to Ozark hence the name of the lake and town.
We had an awesome site right on the lake
and a view of the dam and a front row view of sunrise.
On the other side of the river we can see our coach and the sunset :)
Biscuit liked smelling for goose eggs, he did not find any but did like the feathers.
