The Pig Trail is in the rugged and forested Boston Mountain region of the Ozarks. The signs do not lie there are many areas on the trail that are very crooked and steep. This is a popular motorcycle byway but we had a good time driving and hiking the trail and its surrounding forest.
The off trail roads were a fun adventure.
We crossed over the river many times, saw pastures, and classic car junkyards.
Biscuit had fun on our hikes especially in the water.

Our lunch stop was at the Oark Country Store (not to be confused with the Ozark store)
The Dogwood trees were AMAZING! and the spring flowers made the drive and hikes extra special beautiful.
